After the initial success of the ‘Essentials Range’, we have designed a new piece to expand the collection. 

We are proud to introduce a new colourway for the range, an Indigo vest. Like the Henley Shirt or Waistcoat, the vest is a cornerstone of the British Wardrobe.  

Undergarments were traditionally worn to protect the wearer’s skin from abrasive clothes and offered no insulation as a layering piece. Typically, gentlemen or noblemen wore more outerwear for cooler climates, but this was not an option for the less fortunate. Soon, the working-class adopted tunics, which is believed to be where the vest originated.

Fast forward 100s of years, and the vest is now a versatile layer worn as an undergarment with shirts. The sleeveless garment gives the wearer freedom of movement and is less bulky than a heavy cotton T-Shirt.

If you’ve ordered full price items as well, please note these will be shipped separately from our warehouse.
