In early May, our Founder, Phil James, is embarking on a new adventure to walk the Pennine Way, in two parts. The trail will take him from Edale to Horton-in-Ribblesdale, hiking for a week, this time for a special cause. His aim is to raise money for the charity Movember, which focuses on improving men's mental health and reducing the rate of male suicide.
Phil fell in love with the outdoors and its healing properties during his first trip to the Pennine Way at the age of 14. Now, 40 years later, he will be trading in his old plastic camera from his original trip for a trusty Leica to document his journey and share his thoughts and pictures as he goes. Through his walk, Phil hopes to inspire others to join him in supporting Movember and promoting the benefits of spending time in nature for mental well-being.
