&SONS DECADE COLLECTION
DECADE brings together ten pieces shaped by the ideas, references and materials that have defined &SONS over the last ten years.
From the beginning, the aim was simple: make clothes robust enough for real life, but considered enough to move easily between different parts of the day. That balance between utility and style still sits at the centre of what we do.
Over the years, the wardrobe has grown around workwear, military references, tactile fabrics and practical construction. DECADE brings those elements together, not as an archive collection, but as a chance to revisit familiar ideas, create something new and honour the original pieces through the details.
Heavy fabrics. Considered washes. Refined construction. Details that reveal themselves slowly.
Some references are obvious. Others sit in the pocket placement, the stitching, the hardware, the way a collar is shaped or the way a fabric has been chosen to change through wear.
We’ve never wanted clothes to feel finished on the day you buy them.
The story begins when you start wearing them.
Raw denim fades around the way you move. Canvas softens at the edges. Leather darkens. Wool settles into shape. Jackets pick up marks from journeys, weather, work and everyday use.
The longer you own them, the less they look like everyone else’s.
That idea has been there from the earliest days of &SONS. From the first collection, photographed by Phil in Red Hook, to the campaigns, garments and places that followed, the clothes have always been made to live beyond the photograph.
Ten years later, the scale has changed. What started around a kitchen table is now a team of more than 50 people, with design, garment and creative teams working closely together from first idea to finished piece.
But the way we approach the clothes remains deliberately hands-on.
The fabrics are discussed. The details are questioned. The references are pulled apart and rebuilt. The collection is shaped collaboratively, with the same attention paid to a pocket, a button or a wash as to the overall silhouette.
That same thinking runs through DECADE.
Ten pieces that look back without standing still.
Clothes designed with character from the outset, but with enough honesty in the materials to keep changing long after they leave us.
A celebration of the first ten years.
