INTRODUCING

In The Thomas Crown Affair, there's a moment where everything relaxes.

The tailoring disappears. The structure softens. McQueen swaps sharp suiting for a faded orange shirt, worn open at the collar beside the coast. The Nova Shirt is inspired by that moment.

Garment dyed in washed orange and cut from a lightweight lyocell-cotton blend, it's soft from the first wear and designed to fade further over time. The one-piece collar keeps the shape relaxed, while back pleats and side vents add ease through warmer days.
It feels like the kind of shirt McQueen wore naturally. Untucked. Sun-faded. Worn in.

Please avoid light colour surfaces as colour may transfer. Lyocel is a sustainable form of semi-synthetic fibres derived from wood pulp. It's characteristics make it soft, breathable and moisture wicking.

ORIGINS

By the late 1960s, Steve McQueen was blending his own wardrobe into the films he starred in. The relaxed pieces seen in The Thomas Crown Affair felt less like costume and more like his everyday style.

The Nova takes inspiration from those moments off-script. Washed colour. Easy shape. A shirt built to look better slightly worn than perfectly pressed.
