In my many years as an advertising photographer, I would need to be holding my camera while lying down, kneeling or on my tiptoes, almost always on the uncomfortable ground or a hard studio floor. I wore out so many pairs of jeans, ripped the crotch and hurt my knees and legs. I also noticed that the camera operators and film crew guys around me were the same. 

Pockets stuffed with film kit and gaffa tape over their knees for some protection. 

I figured combining the aesthetic of carpenter trousers with a cooler design, adding some 'media' use pockets and removable knee pads could fill a gap in this industry and many others. 

Using this design style, I wanted to create something for everyone, whether you were a photographer or tradesperson. I don't think a man can have too many pockets on his clothes, so using our motto: "a purpose for everything", we made sure that you have plenty to choose from.
