Another classic from &SONS, this jacket is stunning and will be my go-to Summer layer.

INTRODUCING

The cut and fit are identical to its green counterpart. However, we have given our Pioneers the perfect Summer essential. This natural ecru provides a blank canvas for any outfit and can be styled with almost anything.

 The Ecru Carver has been hand finished with the occasional scuff providing a worn in, vintage feel on first wear. These natural marks give the jacket a rugged aesthetic only seen on the original railroad pieces.

 Our latest Carver is the perfect Summer staple and can be worn as an evening layer over a light chambray shirt or dressed down with a chino short and striped T.

We have finished the jacket with light corduroy elbow patches and corozo buttons to add contrast to the natural ecru.

ORIGINS

Few jackets are as tough, versatile, and functional as the traditional chore.

This faithful Chore ticks every workwear box and has done since the 19th Century when used by French artisans and US railroad workers to provide comfort, protection, and functionality. 

These original chore jackets came equipped with oversized breast pockets, two hip pockets and a button-down collar that could be folded up to protect workers from the elements. The boxy, loose fit was ideal for layering in the colder months.
