INTRODUCING

Introducing the latest addition to our lineup: the Baseline Low-Tops. Designed with the roots of skate culture in mind, these sneakers pay homage to the pioneers of the '70s skateboarding scene while embracing modern sustainability.

Crafted with precision and care, our Baseline Low-Tops embody the essence of authentic craftsmanship. While staying true to the silhouette of classic plimsolls, we've reimagined them with a sleek low-top profile, perfect for everyday wear. Gone is the vintage distressing of our original design, replaced with a clean and timeless finish that effortlessly blends into any wardrobe.

Constructed from over 70% recycled materials, including our signature recycled rubber sole and eco-friendly Ecolive Canvas mix, each pair of Baseline Low-Tops is a step towards a greener future. From the tan canvas uppers to the 100% recycled cork insoles, every element is thoughtfully chosen to minimise environmental impact without compromising on style or comfort.

ORIGINS

Until the early 70s, skateboarders rolled on wheels made of clay, they were old and limited skaters to minor tricks. In the early 70s, Frank Nasworthy began tinkering with urethane wheels and changed the skateboard world forever. These new wheels allowed skaters to go vertical and defy gravity. Skateboarding blew up.

Our low-top trainers are inspired by the plimsolls that skateboarders used to wear. With their crew socks pulled high, these trailblazers were part of the sidewalk surfers movement, that changed the course of skateboarding.
