The Carder Shirt is a symbol of craftsmanship and graft - inspired by the traditional plaid work shirts worn by loggers, builders, and tradesmen for over a century.

Woven from 390gsm heavyweight cotton flannel, the Carder is built to take on the elements with strength and structure. A brushed inner face adds warmth and comfort, while triple-needle seams and bellowed chest pockets deliver purpose with every stitch.

The bold red and black check is a bespoke pattern, developed exclusively for &SONS - a nod to the iconic colours worn in the forests of North America and the workshops of Britain. Finished with buffalo horn buttons and twill reinforcements, this is a shirt made to layer, move, and last.
