Indigo dye, by its nature is not very colour-fast. This is what helps to create the fades on your jeans after wear! We advise avoiding contact with lighter coloured clothes and upholstery when wearing raw denim as the colour can transfer. Should the colour transfer onto your lighter-coloured clothing it should wash out with your usual detergent.

"&SONS Scarves have always been a staple for any outfit and now I have a winter version"

INTRODUCING

The cold weather is slowly blowing in and autumn is the time to prepare with chunky knits and warm scarfs to see you through the cooler seasons.

A scarf is one of the best accessories for any man out there and this luxury, 100% cotton neck warmer is the ultimate piece this autumn and winter.

We have used two different stitch types to create a textured effect and crafted a ribbed edge finish. This indigo yarn scarf has been stonewashed providing stunning shade variation so that each piece is totally unique. We recommend wearing it with our Ryder Jacket in the autumn, and our Boardwalk Peacoat in the Winter.

Popularised by aviators in both World Wars to keep their necks warm and prevent chaffing, scarves have been a staple in men’s wardrobes for over 2000 years. In Ancient Rome, men wore them as 'sweat cloths' used to keep cool and dry sweat. The military has also used them as rank insignia and unit designators for many years, from the Terracotta Warriors of China to modern-day desert military units.

Style Tip:

The Drape
The simplest of all and sometimes, all you need. Simply drape the scarf around the back of the neck and let it fall on either side to add another layer and pop of colour.

Overhand Knot (Also known as Ascot)
Lay the scarf over your shoulders. Take both ends of the scarf, and tie them “over-and-under,” as if you were starting to do up a giant pair of shoelaces. Adjust the front to be a bit smooth and tighten closer to the neck as desired. Looks great tucked underneath a chore jacket.

The “Parisian”
Fold the scarf in half at the middle so that the ends touch and hold the doubled-over bend in one hand while passing the loose ends around the back of your neck with the other. Tuck the ends through the bend and pull snug. This is the most common look in the &SONS style catalogue.
