INTRODUCING

Introducing the Limited Edition Boxer T-shirt with Hand-Printed Trading Post Design—a unique twist on our classic Seagrass Boxer Tee, crafted for those who appreciate both artistry and style.

Building upon the popular, 100% organic cotton Seagrass Boxer Tee, we've added a distinctive, hand-printed Trading Post illustration in dark tonal ink . Each garment is individually screen-printed by hand in small batches, ensuring that no two are exactly alike. Resulting in a limited-edition piece that’s as unique as you are.

The timeless 1950s cut remains, with a ribbed crew neck and a vintage-washed finish that gives the fabric its signature character. But it’s the hand-printed design that truly sets this tee apart, adding a touch of artisanal craftsmanship that celebrates our commitment to quality and creativity. The Tonal ink subtly contrasts with the refreshing Seagrass colour, making this tee a standout piece for any season.

This product is dispatched from our retail store, while others are dispatched from our warehouse. If your order includes items from both locations, they will arrive in separate parcels. Additionally, please note that there is an up to 7 days lead time before dispatch, although typically much quicker. This is because they are made to order.

ORIGINS

Trading posts were vital hubs of commerce and culture in early American history, particularly during the fur trade era. Emerging in the early 19th century, these outposts were established in remote areas to facilitate the exchange of goods between European-American trappers and Native American tribes. The first trading post, Fort Vasquez, was established in Colorado in 1832 by Louis Vasquez. However, it was Fort Laramie in Wyoming, founded in 1834 by William Sublette and Robert Campbell, that became one of the most famous.

At these posts, trappers would bring pelts of beaver, buffalo, and other animals, which were highly valued in Europe for making hats and clothing. In exchange, they received supplies such as food, weapons, and blankets. The posts were usually located at strategic points along rivers or trails, making them accessible to both trappers and Native American traders. As the demand for fur declined and the West became more settled, many of these trading posts either evolved into towns or were abandoned, leaving behind a legacy of the early American frontier.
