Introducing the newest edition of our hand-printed collections: the Navy Panther T-Shirt. This classic-cut, 1950s-inspired rounded neck T-shirt, features a striking yellow ink print of a panther, adding a bold and unique touch to your wardrobe. 

Our organic cotton fabric quality is a ‘supreme jersey 290g’. We have sourced our organic cotton to ensure that not only is the fibre organic but also the processing of the fabric and the garment throughout the entire supply chain uses no harmful chemicals and meets high ethical and environmental standards. 

These timeless tees are hand-printed and designed in our studio, with the &SONS panther logo in vintage yellow ink across the front, giving you a unique &SONS piece straight from our studio. T-shirts started becoming more of an all-day everyday piece of clothing in the 1940s and 1950s, especially after being worn in posters by military personnel and being seen on icons of the time like Marlon Brando and James Dean. 

Back then t-shirts were nearly always classic white and still associated with undergarments of the era…what else could seem more rebellious and different? In the 1960s, with both WWII and the Korean War over with, all kinds of colours were coming into use now that industry didn’t have to deal with shortages and rations, and had the boom decade of the 1950s to invest in new designs, colours, and cuts.
