INTRODUCING

A new perspective for &SONS - AVAILABLE NOW

The high light of Summer or the low sun delivered on a crisp winter's morning means, like many of our products, eyewear is an all-season investment. And like any investment, we wanted to produce a piece that would stand the test of time.

We never chase trends and always look back to create that classic silhouette you’ve come to expect from &SONS.

The first sunglasses were invented in the 12th Century in China and used a simple slab or quartz to block out sunlight. It's also thought that judges opted for a smoked-coloured lens to avoid showing emotion in particular cases.

As time moved on, so did innovation. In the 18th Century, colour lenses were introduced to improve vision in poor light as it was believed a blue or green tint could correct certain impairments.
