This September, The Wild Retreat returns. An exclusive men's-only gathering in the untamed heart of Cornwall, designed for those who crave more than the ordinary. From the 12th to the 15th of September 2025, escape the noise, ditch the signal, and reconnect with the wilderness, your Pioneers, and yourself.
Tucked away at 7th Rise, a 15-acre riverside hideaway set within ancient oak woodland, this retreat offers a rare chance to hit pause. No emails. No distractions. Just river swims at dawn, feasts by firelight, and moments you won’t find on a screen.
Arrive by foot, tracing hidden woodland paths to the Lost Cottage of Penperth, where a welcome drink and the warmth of an open fire await. Over four days, you’ll immerse yourself in a programme of wild swimming, canoe adventures, foraging expeditions, green woodworking, and archery, balanced with pockets of calm, storytelling, and connection.
Leading our Brotherhood Connection workshops is David Millar, returning to explore meaningful conversation, reflection, and shared experience - the kind of connection modern life too often leaves behind. Food is at the heart of the retreat. Chef Simon Stallard of The Hidden Hut will craft unforgettable feasts using open-fire techniques and wild ingredients gathered from the land and river.
For those seeking a deeper connection with the wild, we’re offering a limited outdoor sleeping option. Spend your nights beneath the trees in one of our Tentsile Tree Tents, suspended between ancient oaks. It’s the ultimate way to embrace the elements and wake to the sounds of the forest at dawn.
